Museum of Discovery and Science – Ecodiscovery Center Expansion

The Museum of Discovery and Science contracted Stiles to build this 2-story expansion to increase the size of their existing facility by approximately 31,000 SF. The new addition will open visitors’ eyes to the global impact of climate change, the promise of alternative energy sources and the vital role of the Everglades in safeguarding Florida’s fragile water supply. The focal point of this project is a North American River Otter exhibit, a spectacular 2-story indoor/outdoor habitat. In addition, the receiving LEED SILVER certification, the Museum is incorporating green responsibility with a new Go Green exhibit. LEED Silver Certified
