Senior Preconstruction Manager for Seminole/Stiles
As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, Mark works closely with clients beginning in the early stages of preconstruction to prepare preliminary cost estimates and create a preconstruction schedule. He then mentors, supports, and manages preconstruction managers who work with designers, subcontractors, and project managers to handle the detailed aspects of projects leading up to the construction phase, such as subcontractor bids and scopes, design cost control, and detailed cost estimates.
Mark has been working in the construction industry for 15 years, including 14 in Florida and with Stiles. He began as a Superintendent with a home-building company in Central Florida then became an Assistant Project Manager and Estimator with a general contractor before joining Stiles in 1998. He has worked on a variety of projects, from city planning to fountains with ultrasonic sensors, roadway improvements, emergency operation center, retail centers, and condominiums. Mark has a talent for finding creative approaches when complex issues arise. He applies this skill, his estimating background, and his teamwork abilities to exceed clients’ expectations.
